A custom-made website will cost you more than an gallery website, so if you have a limited budget take a look at the gallery websites first. If a gallery website is close to the kind of website you want (more in terms of structure than the visuals) then the most economical option will probably be to pay for a customized gallery website.
A website made to your specifications
The process is as follows:
- You provide me with a description of what you want.
- I give you an initial estimate of the cost and then ask you some questions about your project in order to get a detailed idea of what you want.
- Once I have a clear idea of what you want and have done some research into how much work is involved I will send you an itemized quote.
- You can then decide to proceed with some or all of the project. Since the quote is itemized you can choose to drop certain items in order to keep the total cost within your budget. If you decide not to go ahead at this stage you will not be charged anything.
- The website will be built under a test address so you can see and test it as it progresses.
- If during development you decide you want additional functionality that was not specified at the start I will give you a separate quote on each item so you will always know how much you will be paying. There will not be any nasty surprises when you get the bill.
